Job Description:
Responsible for assembling medical devices and components in a controlled manufacturing environment while following established work instructions, quality standards, and safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble medical devices, components, and subassemblies using hand tools and manufacturing equipment.
- Follow detailed work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and manufacturing procedures.
- Inspect components and finished products for defects, damage, and quality issues.
- Perform visual inspections and basic quality checks throughout the assembly process.
- Use hand tools, fixtures, gauges, and other assembly equipment as required.
- Maintain accurate production and quality documentation.
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and company safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and controlled work area.
- Identify and report defective materials, equipment issues, or production problems.
- Meet established production, quality, and accuracy requirements.
- Work effectively as part of a manufacturing or production team.
- Perform repetitive assembly tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
- Follow proper handling procedures for components and finished medical devices.
