About the Role:

We are actively seeking a Qualified Developmental Disability Professional (QDDP) to work with individuals who have intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in the 757 area of Virginia. This role involves providing person-centered planning, coordinating care, and ensuring regulatory compliance in residential, in-home, or community-based settings.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and revise Individual Support Plans (ISPs)
• Conduct assessments and maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation
• Supervise and support direct care staff (DSPs)
• Ensure compliance with Virginia DBHDS and Medicaid Waiver regulations
• Collaborate with families, guardians, case managers, and interdisciplinary teams
• Conduct site visits to monitor service quality and client progress

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a human services field (e.g., Psychology, Social Work, Special Education)
• At least one year of direct experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
• Must meet Virginia’s QDDP criteria under DBHDS guidelines
• Familiarity with HCBS Waiver, person-centered planning, and ISP processes
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Reliable transportation for travel within the 757 area

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of Virginia’s Waiver Management System (WaMS) and EHR platforms
• Experience in residential, group home, or day support program settings
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
