Job Summary:
A leading healthcare technology firm is seeking an entry-level Complaint Investigations Technician to support product complaint investigations within a laboratory environment. This role involves evaluating returned medical products, documenting findings, performing technical troubleshooting, and maintaining quality records. Key Responsibilities:
• Receive, unpack, and sort returned products according to established procedures and product lines
• Investigate returned medical devices to support resolution of customer complaints
• Document investigation findings accurately within the complaint handling system
• Utilize troubleshooting and testing equipment including multimeters, oscilloscopes, test fixtures, and microscopes
• Perform routine maintenance and verification activities for testing equipment and quality records
• Follow standard operating procedures and work instructions to ensure compliance and consistency
• Enter investigation results and supporting data into electronic systems
• Collaborate with team members to support daily laboratory operations and investigation activities
Required Qualifications:
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent with technical experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and computer-based systems
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Strong documentation and data entry skills
• Ability to follow written procedures, work instructions, and standard operating procedures
• Experience with inspection, testing, troubleshooting, or quality-related activities
• Ability to maintain focus while performing repetitive and detail-oriented investigations
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Biology, Biotechnology, Biomedical Sciences, Physics, or a related field
• Experience in the medical device, biotechnology, laboratory, or healthcare industry
• Knowledge of electronic troubleshooting techniques
• Experience using multimeters, oscilloscopes, microscopes, or similar testing equipment
• Exposure to quality systems, complaint investigations, or product testing environments
