PROFILE SNAPSHOT
Defines/reviews and governs the target-state operational architecture across cloud and on-prem environments —ensuring resilience,
observability, automation, and governance aligned to enterprise and telco regulatory requirements.
MUST HAVE
10-15 years in IT Ops / SRE
Telco / comms industry experience essential
Carrier-grade environments (99.99% SLA)
Knowledge and/or experience in observability stack —Splunk, ELK, Dynatrace, Grafana, or similar
SLO / SLI / error-budget framework design
Working knowledge of cloud —AWS, Azure, or G CP
ITIL / CMMI-aligned operating frameworks
NICE TO HAVE
TM Forum frameworks (eTOM, SID, TAM)
Kafka / Spark / Elasticsearch exposure
AIOps and anomaly-detection tooling
Multi-vendor program leadership
GDPR, lawful intercept, data-residency exposure
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Lead infrastructure architecture reviews, capacity planning, network and firewall design reviews, and middleware deep dives.
Establish observability frameworks for metrics, logs, traces; govern SLO / SLI / error budgets, AIOps, and alert noise reduction.
Drive SRE practices —GitHub actions enablement, service reliability reviews, and operational maturity improvements.
Own DR / BCP planning, chaos testing, multi-region resilience, wargames, incident command, and post-incident reviews.
Define standards for Terraform, Ansible, GitOps, automation guardrails, and ITIL-and CMMI-aligned change and release governance.
Support operational management of hardening exceptions, TSF, SFTP / EProxy troubleshooting, CCP rationalization, physical quotation, and EOSL planning.
