| Accountabilities | The Assistant Athletics Director or Director of Fan Engagement and Marketing provides strategic and effective leadership of fan experience, marketing, ticket sales and operations, community engagement, hospitality, and other special events within the Colgate Athletics Department. The position, reporting to the Deputy Athletics Director for External Operations, will be the primary architect of the Colgate Raiders fan experience with the goal of creating an exciting atmosphere that captivates fans and builds lifelong relationships with the Colgate Community. The position will be responsible for developing innovative strategies and optimizing the fan experience. This role is highly visible and requires an individual with outstanding interpersonal skills. The successful candidate should be assertive and confident yet approachable and respectful, with a proven track record in building collaborative relationships across campus and in the community. Role model positive behaviors and leadership for student-athletes, coaches and staff and maintain personal compliance with all relevant governing bodies to include: NCAA, specific conference, athletic department, and university policies Colgate Athletics Mission: To be an inclusive community of competitive excellence This position has been designated as a Campus Security Authority (CSA), in accordance with the federal statutory requirements of the Jeanne Clery Act. CSAs are required to and responsible for reporting allegations of crimes they receive from students and employees to the Campus Safety Department. |
