Reporting to the Oral Care Director, the Associate Customer Development Manager will play a vital part in supporting the management of ~$500MM in Net Sales. The team will count on you to compile brand and category overviews, provide category analysis, and to make recommendations accordingly to include in customer presentations and for account planning. You’ll work to provide information to determine the efficiency of promotions, evaluate sales, distribution and trade support of new products, relaunches, and test markets for continuous improvement. You’ll also be responsible for developing sales proposals to present to Walmart merchandising that take insights into successful selling proposals to build upon our ~$15MM holiday business. You will play a leading role in our adoption of AI, leveraging and advancing our industry-leading partnership with Google Gemini to reimagine, optimize and streamline our ways of working. You will advance our ever deepening data collaboration with Walmart and Scintilla.
This role establishes the building blocks for understanding brand strategies and priorities and how to align them with the customer’s strategies along with the foundation for establishing your internal network.
This role is based in our Rogers, AR office and is expected to work in office 4x week (Monday - Thursday).
Responsibilities:
Salary Range $86,000.00 - $121,000.00 USD
Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.

Responsibilities:
- Have ownership & responsibility to deliver sales objectives on volume, spending and retail execution
- Formulate and execute our strategic plan to ensure you reach maximum volume, profitability and customer service. You’ll be engaging and leading your cross functional partners across, Category, Digital, Omni Marketing & CS&L, behind your category and customer objectives.
- Demonstrate consumer insights associated with strong Colgate brand equities to drive incremental growth and strengthen the customer investment, so that it is consistent with Retail Environment strategy, brand strategy, and shopper insights.
- Lead customer engagement, have direct relationship responsibility for your category counterparts at Walmart, and build a joint business plan.
- Work closely with your Team Manager, and Walmart LT to seek clarity, and drive excellent two-way communication and alignment.
- Support Director in management of customer level P&L, including building effective baseline and promotional activities with accurate volume and spend.
- Manage your trade spend management, reconciling and updating your plans at the end of each month, ensure timely deduction management and perform ROI analysis.
- Leverage Revenue Growth Management principles to grow the business.
- Accurate demand planning and forecasting to ensure optimal service levels for the company and the customer.
- Bachelor's degree
- 3 years in sales roles or adjacent experiences
- Experience working in consumer product goods
- Experience working with a syndicated service (Nielsen, IRI) account
- Microsoft Office or Google Suite proficiency (i.e, Sheets, Slides, Docs)
