Job Summary/Overview
A Food Runner/Busser plays a vital role in ensuring an exceptional dining experience by assisting servers, delivering food promptly and accurately to guests, and maintaining clean and organized dining areas. This position helps ensure smooth restaurant operations through teamwork, efficiency, and attention to detail.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests in a timely, accurate, and courteous manner.
- Ensure all orders are complete, correctly plated, and presented according to restaurant standards.
- Clear and reset tables efficiently between guests, maintaining a clean and organized dining area.
- Refill water glasses and assist servers with guest requests as needed.
- Support servers and other staff during peak service times.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations and dining areas.
- Assist with restocking supplies, polishing silverware, and setting up or breaking down service areas.
- Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure seamless service.
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications (Education, Experience, Technical Skills)
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred but not required.
- Enjoy working with people and providing excellent customer service.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of food service and sanitation standards.

Certifications and Licenses:
- A valid Florida Driver's License with an acceptable driving history is required
- Serv-safe certified
- Certified Food Safety Manager registered in the state of Florida.
