Qualifications:
- Florida Registered Paralegal (FRP) designation or NALA Certified Paralegal (CP) required
- 7 years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably in catastrophic injury or high-exposure cases
- Extensive experience handling circuit court litigation
- Strong experience with medical record review and case analysis
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and Westlaw
- Familiarity with Litify, iManage, or other case/document management software (preferred)
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive professional who can support attorneys through all phases of complex litigation, from case inception through trial. Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing and analyzing medical, educational, and investigative records
- Preparing and managing subpoenas for records and witnesses
- Drafting and managing discovery requests and discovery responses
- Preparing initial disclosures, witness lists, and exhibit lists
- Coordinating and organizing large volumes of records and case materials
- Assisting with trial preparation, including compiling trial notebooks and exhibits
- Communicating with experts, witnesses, and vendors as needed
- Supporting attorneys in managing catastrophic claims involving sensitive and complex issues
