- Identify appellate issues and procedural approaches
- Prepare legal arguments and appellate briefs
- Collaborate with trial attorneys to preserve issues for appeal and develop litigation and appellate strategies
- Perform legal research
- Advise on and draft motions to narrow scope for future appeals.
- Present oral arguments
- Must be a licensed member of the Florida Bar
- Must have excellent legal research skills and exceptional legal writing skills
- Experience as an appellate attorney or as a post-graduate judicial law clerk preferred
