Professional Assistant - Cole County Recorder of Deeds Office
The Cole County Recorder of Deeds office is seeking qualified candidates for a full-time Professional Assistant position, under general supervision.
- Assists customers in recording and locating real estate deeds and other public records
- Indexes real estate documents with accuracy and attention to statutory requirements
- Verifies, processes, and files tax liens and other documents
- Records plats and surveys
- Issues and files marriage licenses
- Reviews all submitted documents for accuracy and compliance with Missouri statutes
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Three years office experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to accurately transcribe data from scanned images
- Sufficient visual acuity to review and authenticate documents
