We are looking for an experienced, personable, and dependable Property Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate is someone who communicates well, stays organized, handles problems professionally, and is comfortable working with both property owners and tenants.
This position requires previous property management experience and the ability to manage the day-to-day responsibilities that come with overseeing rental properties. We are looking for someone who can take ownership of their responsibilities, prioritize effectively, and provide excellent service.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of assigned rental properties
- Communicate professionally with property owners, tenants, vendors, and prospective tenants
- Coordinate maintenance requests, repairs, and vendor scheduling
- Handle tenant questions, concerns, and issues in a professional and timely manner
- Assist with leasing, move-ins, move-outs, inspections, and renewals
- Maintain accurate property and tenant records
- Follow up on outstanding items and ensure issues are brought to completion
- Help ensure properties are being properly maintained
- Use property management software and other technology to manage daily tasks and communication
- Work closely with the rest of the team to provide a high level of service
Qualifications
- Previous property management experience is required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Personable, professional, and comfortable working with a variety of people
- Organized and able to manage multiple priorities
- Good problem-solving skills and sound judgment
- Dependable and able to work independently
- Comfortable using computers, email, smartphones, and web-based systems
- Experience with property management software is strongly preferred
- Willing and able to learn new technology and systems as needed
