Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager with a focus on marketing to support the daily operations of our property management team. The ideal candidate will assist in managing property leasing, maintenance, organizing property viewings, and resident relations while ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations. This role requires strong administrative skills and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Assist and support in the leasing process by showing properties to prospective residents, assisting with resident screenings, lease renewals, move-in/move-outs, and conducting follow-ups.
- Assist in daily property operations, including but not limited to inspections, maintenance coordination, vendor management, maintaining property records, lease files, and compliance documentation.
- Answer and return phone calls in a timely manner.
- Contributes to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks.
- Collaborate with the property management team to produce advertising and marketing materials.
- Serve as a secondary point of contact for resident inquiries, complaints, and service requests.
- Aid in rent collection, processing payments, and tracking delinquencies.
- Prepare preliminary financial reports, including but not limited to occupancy summaries, expense trackers for Property Manager review.

Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license.
- High school diploma required; Associate's/Bachelor's Degree in Business, Real Estate, or related field preferred.
- At least 1 year of customer service experience required.
- 1-2 years in property management, hospitality is a plus.
- Valid SC Property Manager license is not required initially; must obtain within 12 months of hire.
