Position Summary
ColdSnap is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations while ensuring the smooth running of our headquarters. This hybrid role is ideal for a hands-on professional who thrives in a startup environment, balancing accounting rigor with day-to-day administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all accounting operations including A/R, A/P, G/L, Treasury, bank reconciliations, expense reporting, and month-end close
- Ensure GL accounts are properly supported and reconciled monthly
- Maintain the company's system of accounts and records on all company transactions and assets
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis
- Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Oversee and improve internal financial controls and reporting systems
- Coordinate with external accountants for audits, corporate income tax filings, and compliance
- Support inventory accounting and cost tracking for manufacturing
- Track capital expenditures and fixed asset depreciation
- Manage and maintain business insurance policies
- Ensure sales tax and use tax compliance across jurisdictions
- Prepare and file other annual tax filings, such as 1099, 3921, and franchise taxes
- Payroll experience for back-up to HR
- Other ad-hoc reporting as requested
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 5 years of accounting experience, ideally in a manufacturing or startup environment
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
- Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (Acumatica, NetSuite experience a plus)
- Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Able/comfortable communicating across the organization
- Strong attention to detail, well-organized, solution-oriented
- Startup or high-growth company experience preferred

Compensation: $100-$120K
Salary : $100,000 - $120,000
