Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with menu selections, upselling delicious options to enhance their experience
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS accurately for all transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
- Prepare and serve food items efficiently, maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness in accordance with health regulations
- Manage cash register operations, including balancing cash drawers and processing payments swiftly and accurately
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring guest satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness of the front counter, dining area, and food prep stations through bussing and sanitation duties
- Support food preparation tasks as needed, demonstrating basic culinary skills and knowledge of food handling procedures
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurants is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining quality service
- Experience in cashiering, sales, upselling, and customer service enhances your ability to succeed in this role
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and basic math for cash handling and retail transactions is desirable
- Restaurant or grocery store experience provides a solid foundation for understanding food industry operations
