What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Technician position at Cold Heading Co.?
Shifts: 6am-6pm or 6pm-6am
The Quality Technician's responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- First Piece inspections
- Tool change and End of Run checks
- Grain flow/ laps and acid tests for surface discontinuities
- Line inspections of parts and paperwork
- Inspection for and containment of foreign/ suspect material
- Issuing and returning gages
- Gage calibration and maintenance
- Retention of records and samples
- Statistical Process Control and PPK studies
- Maintenance and cleaning of the Quality Lab, acid cabinets, and SPC stations

Requirements
- Able to stand, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs.
