Production Analyst
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Control Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process, ensuring that operations run efficiently, and schedules are adhered to. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production planning and control, with the ability to analyze data, identify process improvements, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to meet production goals.
Responsibilities:
· Monitor production status for assigned jobs to ensure that work orders are released, completed and shipped on time per customer due dates
· Process accurate and timely transactions in the inventory control system
· Communicate with internal manufacturing divisions, operators and plant management to expedite past due orders as required
· Basic computer and excel spreadsheet skills are required. Experience in production scheduling, inventory control and MRP are preferred.
Minimum Qualifications Required:
· High School diploma or equivalent
· Ability to manage in-process and finished goods inventory
· Previous scheduling / material planning experience a plus
· Familiarity with MRP and production scheduling software is preferred
· Previous experience in automotive or manufacturing-adjacent environments is preferred
· Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Excel/Word/Outlook)
· Good communication/verbal skills
