Responsibilities
- Use ladders safely to access high or hard-to-reach exterior surfaces for cleaning purposes
- Perform thorough cleaning of building facades, windows, gutters, and other outdoor structures using appropriate industrial cleaning methods
- Handle manual tasks such as scrubbing, wiping, and rinsing surfaces to achieve optimal cleanliness
- Operate cleaning equipment including pressure washers, floor buffing machines, and other tools to enhance efficiency and quality
- Conduct outdoor work in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards, including the use of fire extinguishers when necessary
- Lift heavy equipment or materials safely during cleaning operations, adhering to manual handling best practices
- Complete detailed reports on completed work, safety checks, and any maintenance needs
Qualifications
- Prior outdoor work experience or background in commercial cleaning is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Ability to use ladders confidently and safely at different heights
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment operation
- Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting and manual handling tasks throughout the day
- Familiarity with safety procedures including the proper use of fire extinguishers and personal protective equipment
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to completing tasks efficiently
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
