JOB DESCRIPTION
The Warehouse Operations Manager is responsible to supervise and oversee the daily operations of designated manufacturing areas and other related projects. The job consists of managing employees, organizing schedules, meeting performance goals, driving safety and continuous improvement, overseeing the Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) program, and other administrative duties.
Responsibilities:
· Oversee daily activities in the designated areas of shipping, receiving, warehousing and kitting work centers (to include reuse/recycle) at both in-house and offsite locations.
· Supervise, coach, train and mentor team members and team leaders; create, maintain and improve a safe and efficient environment for the warehouse and kitting teams and ensure team members are trained to operate in an efficient and safe manner.
· Use all reasonable avenues to meet customer requirements and to meet performance goals.
· Coach, train, mentor and hold the team accountable for SQDIP results, and take an active role in setting team member goals, and in the development required to achieve them.
· Proactively identify and communicate resource, material and equipment needs to ensure production and cost targets are met.
· Collaborate with Inventory Control to ensure product is transacted properly and inventory accuracy is maintained.
· Partner with the PEx Champion and Site Leadership Team to create, maintain and promote lean practices and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
· Create standard work and set the example for driving continuous improvement.
· Oversee the Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) program
· Work closely with the management team to develop site specific plans to achieve short term and long-term goals.
· Assist the Plant Manager in leading new initiatives.
· Assist the Plant Manager in translating the voice of the customer to the manufacturing, operations and support staff, and create a sense of urgency to exceed customer expectations.
· Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications and Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree, and 5 years of applicable experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment, or 10 years of progressive leadership, including supervisory experience, in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
· Proven ability to get results in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
· Experience with business system software.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
· Focuses on results and finds ways to motivate team members to achieve high levels of performance.
· Interacts effectively with all levels and functions to foster a positive and effective work environment.

· Lifting and physical activity is required; ability to lift a maximum of 50 pounds on occasion and lesser amounts frequently

Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
