Looking for a Dental Sterilization Technician who will be responsible for ensuring all dental instruments and equipment are properly sterilized, assembled, and prepared for use. Your meticulous attention to detail and commitment to sterile processing will directly contribute to a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment for both patients and staff. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dental office and be a crucial part of the patient care team.
Duties
- Operate sterilization equipment such as autoclaves and ultrasonic cleaners
- Manage inventory of sterilized instruments and supplies, ensuring proper stock levels and timely reordering when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of sterilization cycles, instrument tracking, and quality assurance documentation to comply with healthcare regulations.
- Follow aseptic techniques during all handling, assembly, and packaging processes to prevent contamination.
- Assist with setting up rooms and flipping rooms for the doctors and hygienists.
- Assist hygiene team in patient intake data during cleanings
