Duties
- Supervise daily deli operations, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality food preparation
- Lead staff training and development to uphold food safety, hygiene standards, and excellent customer service
- Manage inventory control, including ordering, stock rotation, and waste reduction using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Oversee food production processes, including slicing, cooking, assembling, and packaging deli items
- Handle cash transactions accurately through POS systems and ensure proper cash handling procedures
- Maintain compliance with health regulations and food safety standards across all deli activities
- Coordinate shift schedules, monitor team performance, and support staff in achieving sales targets and operational goals
Experience
- Proven management experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant environment with supervising responsibilities
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen management, and food handling protocols
- Hands-on experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and inventory management
- Strong background in customer service within casual dining or hospitality settings
- Demonstrated ability to train staff effectively, supervise shifts confidently, and lead a team in a high-volume setting
- Experience with budgeting, food safety compliance, and food production processes in the food industry
- Prior roles involving culinary experience in deli or similar food service operations are highly desirable
