Job Title: Business Advisor

Position Overview:The Business Advisor is responsible for driving new business growth for Incubator Kitchens through proactive outreach and community engagement. This is a hands-on, customer-facing position that combines sales, marketing, and customer service responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development

  • Generate new business through warm calling, (some) cold calling, texting, emailing, and other grassroots (“guerrilla”) marketing efforts. Upselling current clients to attract repeat sales.
  • Achieve a minimum of $10,000 in new business revenue each month.
  • Earn 10% commission on all sales above $6,000 with an additional 5% added to sales that exceed $10,000.
  • Note: The scope of this role is expected to expand after an initial 4-month trial period. Longterm, the Business Advisor will be responsible for selling additional services. When the new scope is introduced, commission pay will be revisited. The expansion of services sold does not impact base pay directly.

Office Space:

The Business Advisor is “boots on the ground” and works onsite at 4th street market, (when in person). The Business Advisor will utilize the team office in the business center downstairs, and keep personal belongings downstairs. The Upstairs Office (office 206) is used for management and occasional team meetings.

Customer Service & Relationship Management

  • Serve as the on-site representative and face of Incubator Kitchens.
  • Maintain professional and positive relationships with members and prospects, fostering a collaborative and supportive community environment.
  • Assist members with needs, directing them to appropriate departments for resolution.
  • Answer main line phone calls and ensure callers are routed to the correct contacts.

On-Site Presence

  • This is an in-person position requiring a consistent on-site presence, with an optional remote day.
  • Work Schedule:
  • Tuesday–Friday: 12: 00 PM – 8:30 PM
  • Saturday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals.
  • Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Experience in customer service or hospitality preferred.
  • Familiarity with small business, food industry, or shared workspace environments is a plus.

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
