Responsibilities
- Thoroughly wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools to uphold health standards
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure proper storage of clean items
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping ingredients or assembling simple dishes when needed
- Support catering and banquet setups by providing clean serving ware and assisting with dish organization
- Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure safety compliance
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to manage dish flow during busy service times, ensuring timely turnaround
- Keep the work area organized, sanitized, and stocked with necessary supplies for efficient operation
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, hotel, or culinary environments is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is key!
