Base pay starts at $16.00/hr and can go up from there based on how many pieces you run per hour.
Duties
- Operate and monitor stamping presses and auxiliary equipment to produce metal parts according to specifications.
- Conduct routine inspections of stamped components using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify quality standards.
- Follow safety protocols diligently while handling material, welding operations, and assembly tasks to maintain a secure work environment.
- Assist with quality inspection processes by measuring parts with micrometers or other precision instruments to meet strict tolerances.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by documenting production data, identifying issues, and suggesting process enhancements.
Skills
- Proficiency in operating stamping presses and press brake equipment.
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, micrometer gauges, and other quality inspection tools. (will provide training)
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations related to machining tolerances, and process adjustments.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality assurance throughout the production cycle.
