About The Role
Cohere is seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Community Evangelist to build and engage communities on X (Twitter) and Reddit. This role is perfect for a digital storyteller passionate about bringing together audiences interested in AI and ML in a way that strengthens Cohere’s brand identity and technical credibility in the AI space.

About The Role
Cohere is seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Community Evangelist to build and engage communities on X (Twitter) and Reddit. This role is perfect for a digital storyteller passionate about bringing together audiences interested in AI and ML in a way that strengthens Cohere’s brand identity and technical credibility in the AI space.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute content tailored to each platform (X, Reddit) that will resonate with audiences interested in AI modelling and technology, ensuring a consistent yet platform-specific brand voice.
- Be the voice of Cohere in communities on Reddit and X where AI models are debated, dissected, and discussed. Champion Cohere’s “Sovereign AI” approach and positioning.
- Create a variety of content types, including text, visuals, and videos, optimized for social media engagement.
- Stay ahead of trends and leverage AI tools for content ideation, generation, and performance analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Design, Marketing, Product) to align content with broader company social campaigns and product launches.
- Monitor social media analytics to refine content approaches and enhance audience engagement.
- Experience: 3-5 years in community curation and content creation on X and Reddit, with a strong portfolio showcasing platform-specific strategies and audience growth at a tech company or similar organization.
- Creativity: Ability to produce engaging content that stands out in a crowded digital landscape–from end to end, including copywriting and asset creation.
- Strategic thinking: Skill in analyzing trends, audience behavior, and performance to inform decisions.
- Adaptability: Comfort experimenting on new platforms and adjusting strategies based on emerging trends and technologies.
- Collaboration: Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to work closely with designers, writers, marketers, PR, and product teams.
- Ecosystem Knowledge: Proven ability to engage and interact with technical and developer communities with confidence and credibility
- AI curiosity: Interest in leveraging AI tools for content creation and optimization, even without prior experience.
