Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Litigation Associate based in Ardmore, PA, with some work-from-home flexibility. The Litigation Associate will oversee all aspects of case management, including drafting legal motions, conducting thorough legal research, attending depositions, and appearing in court. The role involves close collaboration with clients, reviewing evidence, and building comprehensive liability and damages cases for trial. The ideal candidate will contribute to the firm’s mission of delivering exceptional results in transportation and complex litigation cases.
Qualifications
- JD from an accredited law school
- Active bar admission in good standing (or ability to waive in, if applicable)
- Strong litigation foundation with experience in research, writing, and discovery
- Excellent legal writing skills with the ability to draft clear, persuasive motions
- Experience handling commercial litigation matters, including contract disputes, business torts, and complex civil claims
- Comfort managing deadlines and juggling multiple matters
- Strong work ethic, accountability, and attention to detail
- Experience with transportation, trucking, freight, logistics, or insurance defense matters
- Deposition experience, either taking or defending
- Federal court experience
- Trial or arbitration exposure
- Familiarity with commercial litigation or complex civil matters
