Heavy Equipment Operator 
West Carrollton/Miamisburg

Job Type: Full-time | Schedule: Monday–Friday, Day Shift | Weekends as needed

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team at the West Carrollton yard, in Miamisburg, OH. As the HEO, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and timely processing of materials in accordance with company standards. You will work closely with other team members to ensure that all materials are processed accurately and efficiently. This role requires an important level of attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures. Cohen Recycling is a drug-free workplace and conducts pre-employment testing as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities and Requirements:

• Operation of Front End Wheel Loader
• Hydraulic Crane Experience
• Crane Operator and Mag work 
• Bucket/Fork Loader experience 
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures and maintain a safe work environment
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, which includes baling accumulated trash, keeping walkways free of debris, and performing environmental hazard inspections
• Strong work ethic. 
• Honest and Trustworthy. This position will require you to work unsupervised some of the time and you will be expected to stay on task
• Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be 18 years or older and legally authorized to work in the United States
• Ability to perform physical labor such as standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting (50lbs)
• Strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Come with a great attitude and ready to learn
• 1 year of Crane and Bucket/Fork Loader experience/ Material Handler
