Role: Payments Techno-Functional Business Analyst - Cards Settlement knowledge
Experience: 8-12 years of strong experience
Job Location: We are ideally looking for candidates to work at the Client site in a hybrid model (3 days per week) in Houston TX
Roles and Responsibilities
We are seeking a Payments Business Analyst having expertise in end-to-end lifecycle of card-based transactions using ISO8583 format, and specializing in settlement and reporting functionalities. Alongside functional expertise, candidate should have basic knowledge in Unix, shell scripting and troubleshooting experience.
Responsibilities
• Knowledge in Settlement and Reporting functionalities (OR) Understanding of transaction processing in Debit / Credit payment network applications and related entities such as Merchant Acquirer Issuer and Network.
• Able to review the deliverables from the development teams
• Collaborate with Product managers Product Owners Architect and project managers to define accurate requirements
• Help define test cases and acceptance criteria
• Validate outputs to ensure business objectives are correctly implemented
• Evaluate the impact of changes to the systems
• Help identify potential downstream effects
• Work closely with developers QA and Product family owner to provide functional clarity throughout the project life cycle
• Able to analyze the transactional data
• Ability to articulate both technically and functionally

Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position will depend on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
