About the Role
We''re looking for a senior BA/PO who brings strong ownership and attention to detail, and who is comfortable picking up responsibilities beyond their defined scope when the project demands it. Business Analysis is the core of this role. QA involvement is as-needed, but UAT ownership and post-production support — through both Warranty and Post-Warranty periods.
What You''ll Do
- Requirements Gathering: Work closely with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements — ensuring clarity for both business and development teams
- Process Improvement: Analyze existing workflows, identify inefficiencies, and recommend solutions that improve productivity and delivery
- Data Analysis: Use data to inform decisions and shape product features; leverage SQL to query, validate, and interpret data in support of requirements and UAT
- Backlog Management: Own and prioritize the product backlog based on business value and stakeholder input; drive sprint planning and refinement
- User Stories: Create and refine clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria for the development team
- Stakeholder Communication & Engagement: Serve as the bridge between business and IT — facilitate alignment, gather feedback, validate ideas, and ensure the product meets user expectations
- Agile Collaboration: Operate effectively in a Hybrid Agile environment — contributing to Scrum ceremonies while supporting the team with requirements insights and product direction
- UAT Ownership: Plan, coordinate, and execute UAT end-to-end — drive stakeholder sign-off before go-live
- Post-Production Support: Provide hands-on support during Warranty and Post-Warranty periods — triage issues, validate fixes, and ensure business continuity
- QA Support: Assist with test planning and defect management as needed throughout the project lifecycle
- Proactively surface risks, gaps, and dependencies — and help resolve them before they become blockers
What We''re Looking For
- 8–12 years of BA and/or Product Owner experience in Hybrid Agile environments
- Strong documentation skills — BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and test cases
- Proven UAT ownership — planning, execution, stakeholder coordination, and sign-off
- Experience providing post-production support through Warranty and Post-Warranty phases
- QA exposure (test authoring, defect tracking) is a plus — not a primary requirement
- Excellent communication — clear with both business and technical audiences
- Proficiency with Azure DevOps, JIRA, Confluence or similar tools
- Working knowledge of SQL — ability to query, validate, and interpret data to support requirements and UAT
- Comfort working with data elements — data mapping, data dictionaries, and basic data flow analysis
- Hands-on experience leveraging AI tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) to accelerate BA workflows — requirements drafting, process documentation, or analysis
- CBAP, PMI-PBA, or CSPO certification is a plus
