Role Overview
Client is seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Lead to spearhead cloud-native development and deployment initiatives. The role involves leading DevOps practices, optimizing CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring secure, scalable, and efficient delivery of enterprise applications on Microsoft Azure.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor DevOps engineers in implementing best practices across CI/CD pipelines.
- Design, build, and maintain automated deployment frameworks using Azure DevOps.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to streamline release processes.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep.
- Ensure compliance with Citibank’s security, governance, and regulatory standards.
- Monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Drive adoption of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes/AKS) and microservices architecture.
- Provide technical leadership in troubleshooting and resolving complex deployment issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8 years of IT experience with at least 4 years in Azure DevOps leadership roles.
- Strong expertise in Azure DevOps Services (Repos, Pipelines, Boards, Artifacts).
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD automation, Git, YAML pipelines, and release management.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, Bicep).
- Experience with container orchestration (AKS/Kubernetes).
- Solid understanding of cloud security, compliance, and monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
