A highly respected global automation and controls firm is expanding its U.S. operations and seeking a skilled Control Systems Engineer to join its growing Houston team.
This role plays a vital part in delivering intelligent control and automation solutions across industries such as Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Utilities, and Renewable Energy. You’ll gain exposure to full project lifecycles — from design and integration through commissioning and optimization — helping industrial operations run smarter and more efficiently across Texas and beyond.

What You’ll Do
- Lead and support the installation, commissioning, and startup of automation systems at project sites.
- Conduct site surveys and assessments to define technical requirements and scope.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design and integrate PLC, SCADA, and DCS solutions.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve control system issues both on-site and remotely.
- Execute FAT, SAT, and performance testing to ensure system reliability.
- Develop control logic, HMI interfaces, and network architectures for integrated systems.
- Implement hardware and instrumentation designs for DCS, SIS, and FGS systems.
- Work with wellhead facilities, control panels, and solar-powered systems.
- Interpret P&IDs, control narratives, and industrial standards to deliver robust automation solutions.
What You Bring
- 2–8 years’ experience in control systems and industrial automation projects.
- Hands-on expertise with Rockwell Automation platforms (ControlLogix, FactoryTalk, etc.).
- Strong background in PLC/SCADA programming, testing, and commissioning.
- Experience with hardware design for DCS, SIS, or FGS architectures.
- Solid understanding of industrial instrumentation, networking, and control standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, or Electronics Engineering (or equivalent).
- Willingness to travel extensively (domestic & international) for project execution.
