Salary: $75857.60 to $121368.00 per Year

Position Summary

Analyze clinical workflows and operational processes across Epic-supported environments.

Understand policies, procedures, and operational constraints in clinical areas including:

Inpatient

Ambulatory

Ancillary Services

Gather, analyze, and document clinical and technical requirements.

Participate in Epic application configuration, build, testing, implementation, and ongoing support.

Collaborate with clinical, operational, and IT teams to optimize workflows and system functionality.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze and document clinical workflows and operational specifications.

Configure, build, test, and maintain Epic applications.

Troubleshoot application issues and provide production support.

Translate complex technical concepts into user-friendly solutions.

Partner with stakeholders to improve clinical workflows and system efficiency.

Develop and maintain documentation, workflows, and procedures.

Support system upgrades, enhancements, and implementations.

Deliver user training and education on Epic applications.

Participate in change management and project implementation activities.

Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, patient safety, and organizational policies.

Required Knowledge & Skills

Strong understanding of clinical workflows and healthcare operations.

Knowledge of healthcare information systems and Electronic Health Records (EHR).

Experience with Epic application build, testing, and support.

Knowledge of project management and change management principles.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other business applications.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field; OR

Valid Nevada Registered Nurse (RN) license.

Minimum 3 years of experience in a clinical area impacted by Epic implementation.

Minimum 2 years of Epic application build, testing, and support experience.

Epic implementation experience required.

Required Epic Certification (One Required at Time of Hire)

Willow Ambulatory (Pharmacy)

Certification Requirements

Current active certification in the applicable Epic module at the time of hire.

Ability to maintain Epic certification throughout employment.

Physical Requirements

Work primarily in an office environment using standard computer equipment.

Ability to stand or sit for extended periods.

Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 20 pounds occasionally.

Ability to communicate effectively in person and over the phone.
