This boutique owner’s representation firm specialize in high-end residential projects throughout Manhattan, with projects ranging from $5-20M.
They are currently looking for a client-facing, self-motivated and entrepreneurial APM to join their growing business, working closely with the owner to oversee projects primarily in the West Village/TriBeCa/Soho area.
In order to be considered for this role, you will have circa 7-10 years’ experience in construction, overseeing the full lifecycle of a couple of projects as the lead PM - and ideally in the high-end residential space.
The key to success in this role is soft skills, so they are looking for people who have the confidence, presentation, and people skills to work in a high-end environment and inspire confidence in clients. To this end, a background in hospitality, development, sales and/or finance could also be beneficial.
You must have a passion for this type of work, and, given the boutique nature of the firm, you must thrive in an autonomous, self-starter environment. And if you bring in any work for the company, you will receive a cut of the monthly project fee.
The role will also involve supporting the financial reporting side of the business, so the ability to interpret, collate and convey construction project progress from a schedule and financial standpoint is also important.
