GENERAL
Position Overview
Performs venipunctures and skin punctures competently expediently. Has thorough knowledge of test requirements, assists in Clinical Laboratory as needed. Responsibilities include bleeding time tests, blood cultures, blood samples.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education
High school graduate or equivalent
Experience
Previous phlebotomy experience preferred but not required
Certification
BLS required
Knowledge Of
Basic computer skills; must type a minimum of 40 wpm
Personality / Interpersonal Skills
Appreciation of and the desire to be part of a health care team dedicated to providing patients optimal care.
Employment Type
