Accountant

About the Role:

Do you like to juggle? No really, have you ever tried to throw 3 or 4 of something in the air and keep them from hitting the ground? We need someone that is a good juggler….who is also a good accountant! Are you that person?

We are looking for a passionate, optimistic, compassionate, hard-working team member that lives our values and helps us serve customers, improve our processes, and manage our growth. This accountant role will work closely with and report to the Business Manager and will perform the spectrum of bookkeeping and functions in support of the electrical service team. We are seeking a person with a desire to learn and grow and engage in the excitement and energy in growing a small business.

Primary Responsibilities

· Manage time reports for service invoicing and job costing

· Prepare customer invoicing for review and approval

· Application of payments to AR

· Support purchase order processes

· Reconcile AP with purchase orders and enter for payment

· Perform closing process for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

· Respond to external financial requests and reporting

· Manage incoming phone activity as backup and admin coverage

· Other duties as assigned by the Business Manager

· Minimum 3 years of accounting / bookkeeping experience

· Sets goals and holds themselves accountable to achieve them
