We are looking for an AI Architect in Alpharetta, GA region.

Responsibilities:

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced AI Architect with strong expertise in AI/Generative AI technologies and Microsoft .NET ecosystem to lead the delivery of enterprise-scale digital transformation and modernization programs. The ideal candidate will combine project management excellence with deep technical understanding of AI-driven solutions, .NET application development, cloud platforms, and agile delivery methodologies.

This role requires managing cross-functional teams, defining delivery roadmaps, governing project execution, mitigating risks, and ensuring successful implementation of AI-powered applications while maintaining quality, security, and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

Project & Program Management

• Lead end-to-end delivery of AI and .NET-based projects from initiation through production deployment.
• Define project scope, timelines, milestones, budgets, dependencies, and resource plans.
• Drive Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and release planning.
• Track project progress, risks, issues, and escalations while ensuring timely resolution.
• Establish governance frameworks, reporting mechanisms, and stakeholder communication plans.

AI & Digital Transformation Delivery

• Manage implementation of GenAI, LLM, Agentic AI, RAG, NLP, and AI automation solutions.
• Coordinate AI solution design, development, testing, deployment, and adoption activities.
• Ensure Responsible AI practices, security controls, and compliance requirements are incorporated into delivery.
• Collaborate with AI Architects and Data Science teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

.NET Application Modernization

• Oversee modernization and development initiatives using:
• .NET Core / ASP.NET Core
• C#
• REST APIs
• Microservices
• Event-driven architectures
• Manage application migration, legacy modernization, and cloud transformation projects.
• Ensure adherence to architecture standards, coding practices, and performance benchmarks.

Stakeholder & Client Management

• Serve as the primary interface between business stakeholders, clients, architects, and delivery teams.
• Conduct project status reviews, steering committee meetings, and executive reporting.
• Manage customer expectations and ensure alignment with business objectives.

Technical Leadership

• Partner with Solution Architects, AI Architects, Development Leads, QA, DevOps, and Business Analysts.
• Facilitate architecture reviews, technical workshops, and solution governance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and enhance delivery efficiency through AI-assisted tools.

Risk & Quality Management

• Identify delivery risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks proactively.
• Define mitigation and contingency plans.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, security policies, and project governance requirements.
• Monitor KPIs, project health metrics, and delivery performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Mandatory Skills

• 10 years of IT experience with strong understanding of:
• Generative AI
• LLMs
• RAG Architectures
• Agentic AI Frameworks
• AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude, OpenAI, Azure OpenAI)
• Hands-on knowledge of:
• .NET Core / ASP.NET Core
• C#
• REST APIs
• Microservices Architecture
• Experience managing complex enterprise application development projects.
• Strong expertise in Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe methodologies.
• Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, and Microsoft Project.
• Excellent stakeholder, client-facing, and communication skills.
• Strong risk management and governance experience.

Educational Qualifications

• AI, Azure, or Cloud certifications are highly desirable.
