We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced finance professional with strong Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) expertise, along with Controller-level experience, to oversee daily accounting operations, ensure accuracy in financial reporting, and support strategic financial management. This role plays a critical part in maintaining the company’s financial health and internal controls.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable (AP)
- Manage and oversee the full AP cycle, including invoice processing, approvals, and payments
- Ensure timely and accurate payment of vendor invoices
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain strong vendor relationships
Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Manage billing, invoicing, and collections processes
- Monitor accounts to ensure timely collections and reduce outstanding balances
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing issues
- Generate aging reports and track KPIs related to receivables
Accounting & Controller Functions
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
- Maintain general ledger integrity and perform account reconciliations
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes
- Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets
- Assist with audits (internal and external)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5 years of experience in AP/AR and general accounting
- Experience in a Controller, Assistant Controller, or senior accounting role preferred
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP)
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar ERP systems)
- Advanced Excel skills
