What You’ll Do
In this role, you will:
- Keep projects moving — manage loan draws from submission through payment and reconciliation.
- Run the numbers that matter — handle AP/AR, wires, commissions, and proof of payment to keep cash flow smooth.
- Bring clarity to our books — support invoicing, revenue recognition, and expense allocation for accurate financial reporting.
- Own the loan lifecycle — post interest, record extensions and payoffs, and reconcile secondary market transactions.
- Support reporting & compliance — assist with warehouse lender reporting and provide accurate reconciliations for partners and leadership.
- Be the detail-driven problem solver — spot issues, propose solutions, and help strengthen the Finance team’s processes.
What Success Looks Like
In your first 6–12 months, you’ll:
- Consistently deliver accurate and timely draw processing.
- Establish reliable, repeatable processes for key finance functions.
- Provide leadership with clean, accurate numbers they can count on.
- Become the “go-to” person for spotting discrepancies and making improvements.
What You Bring
We’re looking for someone who has:
- Strong QuickBooks experience.
- Hands-on accounting/finance skills (AP/AR, reconciliations, entries).
- Curiosity to dig into issues others might miss.
- Creativity in finding solutions, not just flagging problems.
- Accuracy and speed — details matter, deadlines matter too.
- Clear communication and ownership of your work.
(Bonus: experience with HubSpot invoicing, loan accounting, or construction finance.)
