What are the responsibilities and job description for the ER - REGISTERED NURSE - PRN position at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center?
JOB DUTIES:
Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments, procedures, and
special tests, and document treatment as required by company policy and local/state/federal rules and regulations
Effectively communicate with providers regarding patient lab and diagnostic reports, condition, progress, and treatment options
Assure diagnostic tests ordered or prescribed by the provider are completed promptly
Assess and evaluate patient needs for, and responses to, care rendered
Apply sound nursing judgment in patient care management decisions
Provide primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses
Administer IV and non-IV medications as ordered
Collaborate with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care for all patients
Direct and guide ancillary personnel and maintain standards of professional nursing
Maintain confidentiality of all information according to HIPAA and company policy
The Registered Nurse (RN) assumes other responsibilities as assigned.

Ability to move, position self, consistently operate various types of equipment, able to detect/observe/identify details at close or distant range with or without accommodations, as well as exerting 50 to 100 pounds occasionally, or 10 to 25 pounds constantly
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, required
Current Registered Nurse licensure with the State of Kansas, required
Credentials required per CRMC policy, state, and regulatory requirements for the unit assigned
Clinical experience in the area of work, preferred
