Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, attentive service throughout their visit
• Take accurate orders using POS systems
• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, snacks, and light food items following established recipes and food safety standards
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food prep stations, seating areas, and equipment
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties with basic math skills
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures at all times
• Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness to ensure quality standards are met

Requirements

• Previous barista experience or coffee industry knowledge is highly preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
• Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and sales calculations
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food preparation techniques
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks involved in food service operations
• Experience in serving or retail environments is advantageous but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key
