Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties found in SOC Code 45-2092 Farmworkers and Laborers, Crop, Nursery, and Greenhouse such as: Record information about crops such as pesticide use, yields, or costs; Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; Winterize equipment, post harvest (clean up, any routine maintenance); Set up, repair, maintain, and operate irrigation equipment; Furrow for watering crops; Inform farm managers of crop progress; Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery (much of which is equipped with GPS) to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest crops such as rice, corn, cotton, soybeans; Load agricultural products into trucks without over or underfilling bed or trailer, and drive to market or storage facilities; Build agricultural structure; Mix materials, dump solutions or seeds into planter or sprayer machinery; Attach implements using hand tools; Monitor water and distribute feedstuffs; Clean work areas and maintain grounds and landscaping; Repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures; Speak and understand english.
