Two Part Time position types available for our Thriftopia Store in Ottawa Ks:
Starting at $9.00 based on esperience. Must have evening and weekend availability.
1. Part Time Cashier/Shift Lead
2. Part Time Processor
1. Cashier/Shift Lead Position:
Greet customers at Thriftopia, accept donations, and sort items received so we can stock our shelves with amazing thrift store finds!
Opening and closing of the store duties.
Including unpacking clothing, houseware, books, toys, etc.
Organizing and setting out items throughout the store.
Some shifts may also have you stocking the floor and running the register; so, the capability to multitask is preferred.
2. Processor Position:
Greet customers at Thriftopia, accept donations, and sort items received so we can stock our shelves with amazing thrift store finds!
Sort, hang, and organize clothing onto labeled Z bars
Including unpacking clothing, houseware, books, toys, etc.
Organizing and setting out items throughout the store.
Physical Demands of Work Environment:
Employees are required to complete and successfully pass required background checks.
Employees must be able to lift 20-30 lbs regularly.
Employees will occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Must be willing to be trained on the powered pallet jack. * Clerks under the age of 18 are not allowed to be trained or operate the pallet Jack.
Employees are frequently required to stand; walk; sit; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision; distance vision; color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
While performing the duties of this job, employees are occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions.
The noise level in the work environment is moderate.
