Position Summary
The Senior Analyst of Operations Performance & Access Optimization is responsible for supporting the advancement of operational performance through data analytics, reporting frameworks, Epic system optimization, and workflow improvement across Codman Square Health Center. This role partners closely with Operations, Clinical Leadership, Finance, and Information Systems teams to design performance dashboards, scheduling templates, reporting tools, and operational KPIs that improve patient access, operational efficiency, and productivity across the organization.
The Senior Analyst supports both frontline teams and executive leadership by translating operational priorities into actionable analytics, standardized reporting tools, and training programs that help leaders measure and improve performance. The role also leads Epic Cadence scheduling optimization, provider template analysis, patient access reporting, and operational performance initiatives that support strategic organizational goals.
Essential Functions
- Operational Performance & Analytics
- Develop and maintain operational dashboards and analytics tools that monitor performance across departments.
- Design standardized KPI reporting frameworks used by frontline teams, managers, and executive leadership.
- Produce executive-level scorecards that track operational metrics such as patient access, fill rate, provider productivity, and scheduling efficiency.
- Analyze operational data to identify performance trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
- Access & Scheduling Optimization
- Partner with operational and clinical leadership to design and optimize provider scheduling templates.
- Develop reporting tools that measure access performance, appointment availability, utilization, and patient flow.
- Support Epic Cadence functionality including template design, scheduling optimization, and access management tools.
- Provide recommendations that improve scheduling efficiency, patient access, and operational performance.
- Operational Workflow Improvement
- Conduct operational workflow assessments to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with departments to develop standardized workflows and operational templates.
- Develop standard operating procedures and documentation supporting operational consistency.
- Training & Operational Education
- Provide training for frontline staff, managers, and leadership on operational dashboards and reporting tools.
- Educate teams on the interpretation and use of key operational metrics.
- Develop training materials supporting Epic scheduling optimization and operational performance tools.
Optimize – Execution
- Establish clear operational performance metrics and reporting structures.
- Support large operational improvement initiatives through analytics, reporting, and workflow design.
- Coordinate with operational, clinical, and technical teams to implement system improvements.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of operational reporting tools.
Financial – Insights
- Use operational analytics to support leadership in improving financial and productivity performance.
- Develop reporting tools that analyze provider productivity, scheduling utilization, and operational performance.
- Support leadership decision-making using data-driven insights rather than anecdotal information.

Qualifications
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years experience in healthcare operations analytics, health IT systems, or operational performance roles.
- Experience with Epic Cadence scheduling systems strongly preferred.
- Experience developing dashboards, reporting tools, and operational analytics frameworks.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Information Systems, or related field required.
- Master’s degree preferred.
Physical Requirements
• Must be able to stand or sit for prolonged periods (50% of the time) ·

Salary : $66,500 - $103,000
