Summary
Baird is seeking an IT Project Manager to lead business-critical technology initiatives within Global Investment Banking. This role is a hybrid Project Manager and Agile facilitator, responsible for planning, execution, and stakeholder communication across complex projects, with a strong emphasis on Salesforce. The role is contract-to-hire, with conversion potential based on performance.
Responsibilities
Lead cross-functional IT projects from initiation through delivery
Partner with business and technology leaders to manage project backlogs and roadmaps
Manage project plans, risks, issues, and dependencies
Facilitate Agile practices, planning sessions, and team formation activities
Communicate project status, risks, and milestones to stakeholders and leadership
Remove roadblocks and support teams in delivering high-quality outcomes
Coordinate with vendors to manage deliverables and timelines
Qualifications
7 years of project management experience; 5 years in IT
2 years of experience in Financial Services
Experience working in Agile or hybrid Agile environments
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, MIS, Finance, or related field preferred
