Position Overview:
We are looking for an After-School Youth Program Instructor to join our team. Our ideal candidate is passionate about technology and early childhood education, punctual, hard-working, dependable, good with kids, and possesses strong leadership qualities. This position is available starting now and all year round. This is a permanent, part time position, not a summer job.
Responsibilities:
- Assess students areas for improvement, and note each student's strengths and needs
- Track progress of each junior student during the lesson
- Report to the Junior Program Coordinator to discuss problems, strategies and solutions
- Communicate with parents about their child
- Maintain and develop a clean classroom (dojo) for junior age students
Qualifications:
- Proven work history with kids ages 5 to 9
- Knowledge of teaching and learning assessment pedagogy is an asset
- Must be organized and an excellent communicator
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Basic experience teaching stem preferred, but not required
- Must be FUN and ENERGETIC

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
