At Code Ninjas, kids learn to code by building video games in a fun, energetic, and creativity-driven environment. Our Senseis are the heart of the dojo — guiding, inspiring, and mentoring our Ninjas through their coding journeys.
Position Overview
We are looking for a fun, patient, and enthusiastic Sensei who loves working with kids and enjoys teaching. As a Sensei, you’ll help young Ninjas (ages 5–14) learn coding concepts through our engaging curriculum, provide hands-on support, and create a positive learning atmosphere.
What You’ll Do
- Guide students through coding platforms like Scratch, Minecraft Modding, Roblox Studio, and JavaScript (training provided)
- Support students one-on-one or in small groups as they progress through levels
- Answer questions, check code, and celebrate student achievements
- Create a fun, safe, and positive dojo environment
- Communicate progress or concerns to Center Leadership when needed
- Help with setup, cleanup, and occasional special events or camps
- Promote teamwork, problem-solving, and creativity in each session

Preferred (Not Required)
- Experience working with children (tutoring, camps, after-school programs, etc.)

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
