This is a hands-on, relationship-driven role that combines day-to-day HR operations with broader strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will be equally comfortable on the floor connecting with employees as they are partnering with senior leadership to drive organizational growth, change management, and a positive workplace culture.Key ResponsibilitiesEmployee Relations & CultureServe as a trusted advisor and coach to leadership and employees across all levels.Build and maintain an open, respectful, and growth-oriented environment.Handle employee relations issues, including investigations, conflict resolution, and corrective actions.Promote a culture of accountability, engagement, and teamwork.Balance compassion for employees with adherence to company policy and best practices.Strategic & Organizational InitiativesPartner with leadership to design and implement people strategies aligned with company goals.Act as a change agent to foster organizational maturity and continuous improvement.Lead or contribute to HR projects, process modernization, and strategic initiatives.Help drive adoption of a new HR Business Partner model that enhances agility and visibility.Generalist & Operational HR SupportSupport hiring, onboarding, and employee development for both hourly and salaried staff.Conduct regular floor walk-throughs to stay engaged with day-to-day operations and employee needs.Partner with EHS teams to support case management and workplace safety initiatives.Facilitate employee engagement surveys, focus groups, and team development sessions.Collaborate with legal and compliance teams on offer letters, separations, and employment documentation.QualificationsRequiredBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.5–7 years of progressive HR experience.Strong background in employee relations, conflict management, and change management.Excellent communication, time management, and prioritization skills.Experience working in fast-paced, manufacturing or industrial environments.Proficiency in Workday and Google Suite highly preferred.Up to 25% travel as needed.PreferredAdvanced knowledge of employment law and HR compliance.Proven experience leading strategic HR initiatives or transformation projects.A customer-service mindset with a proactive, collaborative approach.
