A leading professional services organization is hiring a Senior Manager of Pricing Finance to lead strategy and execution across high-impact matters. This role partners closely with senior stakeholders to design competitive, profitable pricing structures and improve pricing processes across the firm.
What you’ll do
- Lead a pricing finance team (managers and analysts) and oversee day-to-day workflow, quality, and development
- Build and review pricing proposals including hourly rates and alternative fee arrangements (AFAs)
- Develop financial models, benchmarking, and performance reporting to support matter profitability and client value
- Advise senior stakeholders on pricing strategy, negotiation considerations, and internal approval practices
- Support annual rate-setting activities, including timelines, benchmarking inputs, and stakeholder coordination
- Contribute to RFP/pricing language and collaborate with Business Development on proposal best practices
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, standardization, and automation; stay current on legal pricing trends/tools
What we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s degree with Accounting/Finance is preferred
- 8 years in financial analysis or pricing is a plus
- 4 years people management experience with direct reports
- Advanced Excel skills (PowerPoint also strongly preferred)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders using data-driven insights
- Experience in professional services strongly preferred, Big 4 Public Accounting or Consulting firm a plus
