As we grow, we're looking for a self-motivated, outgoing Optical Sales Associate to join our team — someone who enjoys working with people and has a passion for eye care and eyewear.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide an exceptional in-store experience.
- Assist patients in selecting frames and lenses based on prescription, lifestyle, and style preferences.
- Educate customers about lens materials, coatings, and options, including high-index lenses, anti-reflective coatings, progressive lenses, etc.
- Understand and explain common visual conditions such as presbyopia, myopia, hyperopia, and astigmatism.
- Process sales and insurance claims accurately and efficiently.
- Perform minor adjustments and repairs on frames.
- Maintain the presentation of the optical showroom and ensure all inventory is well-organized and stocked.
- Collaborate with a close-knit team in a patient-focused environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the optical industry preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Comfortable learning product details and basic optical principles.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small, collaborative team.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not required.
