The Admission & Enrollment Services Specialist II performs a comprehensive set of enrollment functions: admission, residency, registration, enrollment verification, program declaration, and transcript requests to facilitate students’ matriculation and success at the College. This role requires strong customer service and communication skills as well as dedication to data integrity and accuracy, ensuring and maintaining compliance within the department and college. This is a full-time, 12-month, benefit eligible position.
Salary & Benefits:
- Anticipated Hiring Range: $20.00 - $24.40/hour - depending on education and experience
- Cafeteria Plan: In addition to the base compensation, benefits-eligible employees receive an extra $6,720 per year to put toward benefit costs or to be used as additional take-home pay

Admission Process
- In coordination with fellow Enrollment Services Specialist II, manage the admissions onboarding process, which includes the review of the application and residency documents received to ensure legitimacy in Element 451 before pushing into the Banner system. Complete the review processing to include residency determination: review placement documentation to include; high school/college transcripts, and test scores to ensure placement is completed for students prior to working with admissions and/or academic advising.
- Ensure streamlined and frequent communication with applicants so they are aware of their step in the admissions process.
- Continually strive to build and maintain partnerships and collaboration, cross departmentally with Academic Affairs, Financial Aid, Business Services, and other internal and external stakeholders.
- Interpret and communicate complex college, state, and federal policies on residency classifications and a variety of admission statuses, (e.g., special student, dual enrollment).
- Assist students with navigation and effective use of Banner self-service registration; identify causes for error messages and provide students with avenues to resolve issues.
- Review, verify, and process student forms and documentation for accuracy – utilizing the Banner information system with the highest regard for data integrity, or distributing to the appropriate AES staff member.
- Assist with add/dropping/withdrawaling of student records, primary point of contact for department emails, presentation, and processing student request.
- Image, upload, and accurately index documents in AppXtender according to college, state, and federal record retention and privacy guidelines.
- Manage requests for official transcripts through Parchment transcript service, troubleshooting login, payment, hold, and data mismatch errors. Perform required bi-weekly enrollment reporting to the National Student Clearinghouse and assist with other error reports.
- Serve as one of the main representatives of the College and AES, often being the first point of contact for students, parents, and the general public.
- Serve as backup for CCC Welcome Desk, including office coverage and CCC Admission Campus Tours
- Act as the departmental liaison to branch campuses for all Admission & Enrollment Services policies and procedures.
- Protect student privacy according to FERPA regulations, be a FERPA ambassador for the college.

Knowledge of policies, procedures, rules and regulations governing college admissions, residency classification, and student privacy. Knowledge of relational databases and data integrity. Skilled in customer service strategies and functions. Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written formats.
Associate’s degree and 2 years of experience indirectly related functions; or 4 years of progressively responsible experience in directly related functions; or any equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job and/or as approved by the Human Resources department.
Preferred
Experience working in post-secondary institutions (specifically at the community college level) in a Registrar’s Office, Admissions Office, or Enrollment Services Office. Experience working with a CRM (e.g., Salesforce, Slate) and with a student information system (e.g., Banner, Colleague, Peoplesoft). Must be detail oriented and have a concern for data integrity.
