Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk/Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role involves supporting financial processes, managing administrative tasks, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have strong office management skills, proficiency in various software tools, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently. Responsibilities

  • Manage data entry and maintain accurate financial records using accounting software
  • Assist with front desk duties, including greeting visitors and managing multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy
  • Perform filing, proofreading, and document management to ensure organizational efficiency
  • Provide customer support via phone and email, ensuring excellent phone etiquette and customer service standards
  • Assist with bookkeeping activities, including invoicing, billing, payables, job tracking, estimating
  • Maintain organized records of client information, invoices, and other essential documents
  • Support personal assistant tasks as needed, including task prioritization
  • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and industry specific accounting software

Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and willing to learn internal procedures
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent time management abilities
  • Effective communication skills with professional phone etiquette
  • Office management experience with familiarity in clerical tasks such as filing and data entry
  • Customer service experience with a focus on support and problem-solving
  • Ability to handle multi-line phone systems efficiently and professionally
  • Attention to detail for proofreading documents and maintaining accurate records
  • Prior experience in office administration is preferred
  • Computer literacy across various platforms with strong typing skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
